This is a legal Agreement between Licensee (either a single individual or an entity, 
herein referred to as Licensee) and Kaawa Oy (herein after referred 
to as Licensor) in relation to each owned copy of "Taurus", if purchased in bulk or 
individually (herein each copy referred to as a seat). By purchasing any one of the
three versions ("LITE, "STANDARD" or "PROFESSIONAL") available of "Taurus" software 
(herein after referred to as Product), Licensee indicates acceptance of this Agreement.
This license agreement applies to all distributed versions of Taurus ("LITE", 
"STANDARD" and "PROFESSIONAL") individually and exclusively; consequently, a licensed 
user of Taurus "LITE" is not automatically a licensed user of Taurus "STANDARD" or
Taurus "PROFESSIONAL". Similarly, a licensed user of Taurus "STANDARD" is not 
automatically a licensed user of Taurus "PROFESSIONAL".


            ALGORITHMPROTECTION.COM LICENSE AGREEMENT 


  1. GRANT OF LICENSE 

1.1 Each Product user requires a purchased seat and each seat is personal. When a 
seat is purchased, the seat may only be used by one person and by no other person. 
When seats are purchased in quantities greater than one, each seat may only be used 
internally within the same company/organization, and may not be shared across companies
or organizations. 

1.2 Purchase of a seat grants Licensee legal rights to install and use the corresponding
version of Product ("LITE", "STANDARD", "PROFESSIONAL") on a single computer, and 
allowance to make one copy of Product, in machine-readable form, solely for backup purposes. 
Licensee must reproduce, on every such copy, all copyright notices and any other proprietary 
legends on the original copy of Product.

1.3 Installation of Product on a storage device such as a network server and running the 
Product on an internal network is permitted, provided that the number of concurrent users 
does not exceed the number of purchased seats of Product. A seat must be purchased 
for every such user. 

1.4 Other than as set forth in Sections 1.2 and 1.3, Licensee may not make or distribute 
copies of Product, or electronically transfer Product from one computer to another, or  
distribute Product over a network.

1.5 Licensee may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce 
Product to a human-perceivable form. Licensee may not modify Product or create derivative 
works based upon Product without a written permission from Licensor.

1.6 Licensee may not sell, rent, lease or sublicense Product or its components without a 
written permission from Licensor. In case of "PROFESSIONAL" version, Licensee is allowed 
to include the files "TaurusEncrypt.p" and "TaurusEncrypt_R.p" with their application, 
in any form and free of charges and royalties, provided that the copyright messages  
are retained as such and their functionality is not changed. Under no circumstances 
can these two be resold or distributed alone (individually or together).

1.7 Using Product for illegal activities and activities commonly perceived as unethical
(such as creating viruses) is prohibited.

1.8 Licensee is required to identify, by name and organization, the person(s) using 
Product and pass this information to the Licensor upon a written request. If this 
information is not provided by Licensee, Licensor has the right not to provide Licensee
with fully functional license key(s). After purchase of Product, once this information 
is provided, the licensed user(s) of Product are entitled to a unique free license key, 
which replaces the limited duration generic license key distributed along the purchase 
copy of Product.

1.9 Licensee acknowledges that a working copy of MATLAB 2007b (R) or later is required to
run Product. Licensee acknowledges that a working copy of MATLAB Compiler 4.0 (R14) or later 
is required to build stand-alone programs with copy protection implemented using Product.


  2. LICENSE FEE

2.1 License fee is a one-time payment made at www.algorithmprotection.com 
(or at an affiliate site) allowing the payer to download a fully functional version of
Product. Payment of the license fee grants Licensee a lifetime legal right to use the
thus downloaded Product. 

2.2 Payment of the license fee to algorithmprotection.com is non-refundable under all
circumstances. 

  3. PRODUCT MAINTENANCE

3.1 By this term Licensor agrees to provide registered Product users with free 
Product maintenance during three (3) months from Product purchase date. 
Product Maintenance includes access, via e-mail attachments or other means chosen by 
Licensor, to bug fixes, if released by Licensor during the stated three (3) month
period. Product Maintenance also includes access to minor feature enhancements if 
released by Licensor during the stated three (3) month period.

3.2 Licensee acknowledges that in order to use newer versions of Product than the one
Licensee obtains at the time of purchase may require repayment of the license fee.

3.3 Licensor agrees to support Licensee in standard use of Product, but only if Licensee 
has purchased one or more seats for STANDARD or PROFESSIONAL versions of Product. 
This support is available to Licensee via e-mail for one (1) year from the date of purchase, 
and its scope is determined solely by Licensor. Licensee acknowledges that the support 
granted herein does not cover development work beyond standard Product functionality under
any circumstances.



  4. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

4.1 Licensor makes no representations or warranties of any kind whatsoever with
respect to Product and/or the performance of Product; including without limitation
any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 
Licensor does not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the use,
or the results of the use of Product in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability,
currentness, or otherwise. Licensor shall not be liable to Licensee or an affiliated 
party for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of Product, 
or the failure of delivery, delay in delivery, delivery in nonconforming condition, 
warranty, or for other breach of contract or duty between Licensor and Licensee. 
Force majeure conditions also apply to this agreement. This limitation of liability
condition applies to all components of Product distribution, including all commercial
versions (LITE, STANDARD, PROFESSIONAL). This limitation of liability also directly
applies to every trial version of Product or any one of its components that is 
available free of charge.

4.2 This License Agreement sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between 
Licensee and algorithmprotection.com. In a case of violation of these terms by Product 
Licensee algorithmprotection.com reserves the right to revoke all licenses held by 
Licensee, and no refund is required to be issued. Upon such revocation said Licensee 
must destroy all copies of the software in question.

4.3 Licensee agrees that the limitation of liability clauses stated in 4.1 and 4.2 
also apply to The MathWorks, Inc. 


  5. DISPUTES

5.1 A dispute is herein referred to as a disagreement in activities pertaining to this
agreement, requiring the intervention of a court of justice. All disputes are resolved 
in Finland according to the laws of Finland at "Turun käräjäoikeus".
